Our customers
Our customer base is spread out to various industries. We manufacture products for furniture manufacturing, industrial laundries, cruise ships and shipyards, hospitals, care centres and the hotel industry from large hotel chains to small boutique hotels and guest houses.
Customised solutions
In addition to our standard product range, we also offer tailored solutions to suit company-specific requirements. Due to designing and manufacturing all our products in-house, we are able to develop products in close cooperation with our customers. About us
Since 1984 we, Vormu Oy, have been manufacturing bedding products at our factory in Rauma, South-West Finland. Our mission is to produce high-quality, allergy-friendly bedding products with a long product life. By manufacturing products ourselves, we are able to save natural resources and provide employment in the local area.
Quality standards
Part of our product range is aimed at hotels and institutions such as hospitals, care homes and prisons. Such products are tested according to the most demanding fire test; IMO 2010 FTCP Part 9 to ensure safe use and compliance with fire regulations.
We also offer products to the marine industry that have passed the vigorous fire standards and received the Marine Equipment Directive (MED) declaration of conformity, the “wheel mark” certification.
Product safety
We manufacture our products only with materials that have received an Ökö-Tex 100 certificate. The certificate is only awarded to textiles that pass comprehensive health tests on numerous regulated and non-regulated substances that may be harmful to human health. Ökö-Tex fabrics are also free from toxic or allergenic dyes and therefore such raw materials are suited to people with allergies or sensitive skin.
Research & development
Research and development is one of our strengths. We aim to design innovative products that make the work of our customers easier. With products aimed at the hotel industry, for example, we have considered factors that reduce and speed up the work of housekeeping. We manufacture our products to withstand industrial washing and therefore we regularly test our products in such test conditions. We always aim for a well-designed high-quality product that suits the customer’s purpose and has a long product life.
NCAGE Code – A Reliable Partner in International Procurement
Our company is registered in NATO’s and its partners’ procurement systems and has been assigned an NCAGE code: A0SLG. This international identifier confirms our position as a trusted operator in defense and security projects.
What does the NCAGE code mean?
NCAGE (NATO Commercial and Government Entity) identifier facilitates cooperation with foreign entities and opens opportunities to participate in tenders organized by NATO and other organizations. It signifies that we are ready to operate as part of international supply chains.
Benefits for Collaboration:
- Reliability and Credibility: Registration in NATO systems increases trust, especially in defense, security, and government projects.
- Faster Contract Process: Many prime contractors require NCAGE codes from subcontractors – we already have it.
- International Opportunities: NCAGE is a standard identifier widely used in Europe and the United States.
- Access to Procurement Systems: NCAGE is often a prerequisite for NATO’s NSPA system and other international tender portals.
We engage extensively in subcontracting of textiles including bedding and mattress products and in defense, security, and government projects the NCAGE code provides significant advantages and speeds up cooperation. However, we are also ready to deliver products and services directly. We are prepared to act as a reliable partner in international projects.
